DESCRIPTION

Veteran Trends targets military veterans who have been honorably discharged from one of the armed forces: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force or Coast Guard. They put their lives at risk, voluntarily or by being drafted, to serve their country.

Veterans are men and women of all ages.  These individuals served in different branches of the military government like the Army, Marines, Green Berets, Coast Guard, National Guard, Air Force and Navy.  They served in the WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, Granada War, Lebanon War, and Afghanistan and Iraq War.  Their military service provides security to the country in many ways, allowing those at home to be safe and maintain their rights.  These veterans served their country with pride and honor and safety and protection was there priority.  These individuals still support their country purchasing patriotic merchandise and memorabilia.

A military discharge is given when a member of the armed forces is released from their obligation to serve.  There duties ranged from clerk typing to flying B-52 bomber planes, manning submarines, cooking meals and carrying machine guns through jungles.  Some of these individuals suffered from post traumatic stress disorder, sleep disturbance, concentration, irritability, social and mental health disorders

Veterans rely on foundations and programs across their country for support and help by receiving proper health care, food, clothing and places to live.  Some seek professional help through psychiatrists and therapists, and support groups to help adjust to a normal life setting.
