NJSME is a nonprofit organization comprised of statewide municipal engineers engaged in the planning, construction, and maintenance of public works. Projects include roads, structures, water supplies, bridges, tunnels, sewers, and flood control. Many have degrees in civil engineering and are licensed as professional engineers (PE) with a broad knowledge of science, mathematics, and economics to solve engineering challenges that confront towns, cities, and municipalities. All projects are designed to benefit the citizens of New Jersey so they have access to clean water and safe transportation systems.
