Hand Surgeons from Medical Trends targets doctors specializing in the treatment of all hand, wrist, and forearm problems. 

This group allows you to target highly intelligent, ambitious, well-educated physicians who are dedicated to the care and well-being of others.  They have a doctorate degree and have completed an internship and residency program.  Continuing education is essential for doctors to keep up with medical advances and license requirements.  Hand Surgeons attend classes, workshops, conventions, and seminars and read journals, articles, magazines, and publications to stay current in their field. 

A hand surgeon treats patients referred by a primary care physician.  Most hand surgeons also treat conditions of the elbow, arm, and shoulder.  Some treat only children or adults.  Common ailments they handle include carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, wrist pain, sports injuries, fractures, trigger finger, arthritis, nerve and tendon injuries, congenital birth defects, animal bites, burns, gout, tumors, amputation, cysts, infections, numbness, stiffness, sprains, skin cancer.  Non-surgical treatments like medications, splints, therapies, and injections are also prescribed.  

An DO can work in private practice, group practice, hospitals, or universities, and they are assisted by nurses and administrators.  They prescribe medications to their patients, so they work closely with pharmacists and local pharmacies.  Common tools of the trade are bone elevators and gouges, dissecting probes, finger extension bows, drills, lead hand splint, finger goniometer, tendon forceps, gouges, passers, and strippers, and medical and office furniture. 

Doctors are concerned about their physical fitness.  A doctor typically maintains a healthy lifestyle by eat righting, exercising, and taking vitamin supplements.  They may shop at a health food store to ensure they are getting the proper nutrients.  The MD may have a gym membership, run, or bike.  They may take martial arts, yoga, spin, Zumba, or other exercise classes. 

Stress levels in the medical profession are often high due to the long hours and irregular and on-call shifts.  These factors may also cause stress for their family.  Consequently, they search for hobbies to help reduce their stress level, and they strive to balance work and home demands.  They hire out many of the household chores such as lawn, home, and car maintenance, cleaning, banking, grocery shopping, and other personal errands.

They manage their personal financial portfolio and enjoying investing.
