DESCRIPTION

Cardiac Surgeons from Medical Trends targets medical physicians who operate on the heart and primary blood vessels.

This group allows you to target highly intelligent, ambitious, well-educated healthcare professionals who are dedicated to the care and well-being of others.  This target group has received their doctorate degree and completed an internship and residency program.  Continuing education is essential for doctors to keep up with medical advances and license requirements.  Not only do they attend classes, workshops, conventions, and seminars, docs also read journals, articles, magazines, and publication to stay current with cardiology advances

Cardiac surgeons spend their day performing complicated surgeries such as heart transplant, angioplasty, coronary artery bypass, valve repair, aortic valve replacement, pacemaker insertion, defibrillator implant, and cardiac / coronary catheterization.  A cardiologist uses diagnostic exams such as a cardiac stress test, an echocardiogram, or an electrocardiogram to determine the exact cause of the problem.

The DO requires proper tools to care for a patient.  Common tools of the trade are stethoscopes, blood pressure devices, thermometers, prescription pads, masks, safety goggles, scales, gloves, needles, medications, pacemakers, catheters, aorta dilators and punches, clamps, forceps, tunneling sets, retractors, cardiovascular scissors, tourniquets, vascular probes, and medical and office furniture.  The MD needs disposable systems and services for biological and hazardous waste.  Access to organ and tissue donors is also a necessity.

A doctor can work in a variety of settings.  Some work in private practice, group practice, universities, or hospitals.  They are assisted by nurses and administrators.   They prescribe medication to their patients, so they work closely with pharmacists and local pharmacies.

Medical professionals are concerned about their physical fitness.  A doctor typically maintains a healthy lifestyle.  They eat right, exercise, and take vitamin supplements.  They may shop at a health food store to ensure they are getting the proper nutrients.  The MD may have a gym membership, run, or bike.  They may take martial arts, yoga, spin, Zumba or other exercise classes.

Stress levels in the medical profession are often high due to the long hours and irregular and on-call shifts.  These factors may also cause stress for their family.  Consequently, they search for hobbies to help reduce their stress level, and they strive to balance work and home demands.  They hire out many of the home chores such as yard work, home maintenance, car maintenance, cleaning, banking, grocery shopping, and other personal errands.

Many in this group graduate with high debt load due to student loans, so at the beginning of their career, they may need a budget or money management system.  MDs are a highly compensated group, so as their career progresses, they tend to have discretionary income.  They can then purchase luxury homes, vehicles, vacations, and other toys such as RVs, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and high-end electronics.  They manage their personal financial portfolio and enjoying investing.
