DESCRIPTION

Gynecologists from Medical Trends targets medical professionals who specialize in the female reproductive system.

This group allows you to target highly intelligent, ambitious, well-educated physicians who are dedicated to the care and well-being of women.  This target group has received their doctorate degree and completed an internship and residency program.  Continuing education is essential for doctors to keep up with medical advances and license requirements.  Not only do they attend classes, workshops, conventions, and seminars, docs also read journals, articles, magazines, and publication to stay current with gynecology advances.

Gynecologists spend their day seeing patients in their office for exams and consultations, performing surgeries, and making rounds in hospitals.  Besides annual well-woman exams, a gynecologist treats ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vaginal cancer, urinary incontinence, endometriosis, problems with menstrual cycles, infections, and infertility.  The common procedures are hysterectomy, oophorectomy, tubal ligation, diagnostic laparoscopy, cystoscopy, and appendectomy.  They may work in private practice, group practice, universities, or hospitals.  They are assisted by nurses, anesthesiologists, and administrators.   They prescribe medication, especially hormone drugs, so they work closely with pharmacists and local pharmacies.

The DO requires proper tools to care for a patient.  Common tools of the trade are stethoscopes, blood pressure devices, thermometers, prescription pads, masks, safety goggles, scales, gloves, needles, medications, speculums, curettes, cannula instruments, amnioscopy, forceps, hooks, depressors, dilators, probes, scissors, scoops, retractors, spreaders, and medical and office furniture.  The MD needs disposable systems and services for biological and hazardous waste.

Medical professionals are concerned about their physical fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Doctors eat right, exercise, and take vitamin supplements.  A doctor may shop at a health food store to ensure they are getting the proper nutrients.  The MD may have a gym membership, run, or bike.  They may take martial arts, yoga, spin, Zumba or other exercise classes.

Stress levels in the medical profession are often high due to the long hours and irregular and on-call shifts.  These factors may also cause stress for their family.  Consequently, they search for hobbies to help reduce their stress level, and they strive to balance work and home demands.  They hire out many of the household chores such as lawn, home, and car maintenance, cleaning, banking, grocery shopping, and other personal errands.

Many in this group graduate with high debt load due to student loans, so at the beginning of their career, they may need a budget or money management system.  MDs are a highly compensated group, so as their career progresses, they tend to have discretionary income.  They can then purchase luxury homes, vehicles, vacations, and other toys such as RVs, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and high-end electronics.  They manage their personal financial portfolio and enjoying investing.
